      REMARKS: A poem by Owain "Cyfeiliog", entitled by him "Hirlas", from a large drinking horn so called, used at feasts in his palace, is found written in Welsh on pages 331, 332, 333, and 334 of 'Lloyd, History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog' volume 2.       REMARKS: Odes to him by the bard Cynddelw can be found in volume 1 pages 327-334 and page 343 (written in Welsh) of 'Lloyd, History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog'.
      REMARKS: The term King can be misleading. In Wales till the middle of the 12th century individuals were styled 'Brenin' meaning chief or high one, and 'Arglwydd' meaning lord or master.
