  • Notes
    • (Research):KINSHIP: Investigate> 'Gen-Medieval/Stewart Baldwin' "REMARKS: Possibly Susanna ferch Gruffudd ap Cynan, who was wife of Madog ap Mareuddd, but Madog is known to have had children by other women also, and Bartrum does not list a mother for Margred in his charts in Welsh Genealogies 300-1400, indicating that the early sources do not identify Margred's mother. History of the Princes...of History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog by J.Y.W. Lloyd vol 1, pp 119-124 state that Margred (Margaret) was daughter of Madog by Susanna, but this source also gives Madog a chronologically impossible second wife Maude who married 2nd, John Fitz Alan, died 1268, Earl of Arundel, who lived a hundred years later and History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog cannot be considered reliable on this matter".
KINSHIP: Investigate> Bartrum's 'Welsh Genealogies 300-1400' volume 2 page 30 does not state to which wife she belongs. Placed with 1st wife until further research proves otherwise.

IDENTITY: Conflict/Error> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 2 page 13 calls her "Wenllian Lassei vh Harri Lassi iarll Lincol."
IDENTITY: Conflict/Error> Glenn's 'Family of Griffith of Garn and Plasnewydd in the County of Denbigh' page 219 calls her [unknown] de Lacy of Ewyas.
