IDENTITY: Conflict/Error> Lloyd's 'History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog' volume 2 page 324 calls him Gwyn ap Grufudd ap Beli, lord of Cegidfa. IDENTITY: Conflict/Error> Evans' 'British Genealogist' book 6 page F20 calls him Gwyn ap Grufudd ap Beli. KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Vaughan's 'Llyfr Achau Robert Vaughan, Peniarth 287' page 413: 385Q has several different versions of his descent from Cynfelyn ap Dolffyn. 1st, Maredudd ab Einion (pedigree connecting lines); 2nd, Maredudd ap Gruffudd ap Einion (Source "ER 400"), 3rd, Maredudd "Ddû" ap Gruffudd (Source: "ER100"). This first version is the one found in Bartrum's work. MARRIAGE: Conflict/Error> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 1 pages 304 footnote 6 and 310 foonote 5 state he also was married to Gwenllian ferch Cadwgon ap Philip "Dorddu".
