  (Research):KINSHIP: Investigate> Bartrum's 'Welsh Genealogies - Additions and Corrections 300-1400, 6th List' page 11 Edn. B. 5a footnote 1 states "Said to be descended from 1 Uchdred ab Edwin (Edwin 10), e.g. D 45, P 445, L 258, M 296. Occasionally confused with 8 Madog ab Einion ap Rhirid (Edn. B. 5), e.g. C 138, E 281, F*145, 150." KINSHIP: Investigate> Vaughan's 'Llyfr Achau Robert Vaughan' Peniarth 287 page 227: 225J first makes him the son of Maredudd ap Llywelyn, a generation later then this Madog. But the entry for Madog has a different version of the pedigree name string written to the side which shows "Madc ap Einon ap Mred" gives the source Ghin, then continues the pedigree as "ap Rhirid ap Ioth ap Madg ap Gron ap Owain ap Vchdrud" Ghin 239. Page 229: 225H makes him the son of, 1) Einion ap Rhirid ab Iorwerth ap Madog ap Maredudd ab Uchdrud ab Edwin, 2) Einion ab Iorwerth ap Rhirid ap Iorwerth ap Madog ab Ednywain "Bendew", 3) Einion ap Rhirid ab Iorwerth ap Maredudd ab Uchdrud, and 4) Einion ab Uchdrud. KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Darrell Wolcott's "Pedigree of Ednowain Bendew II", generation 7 no. 36: Madog ap Maredudd ap Llewelyn, in the footnote states: "Pen. 287, 227 cites: 'Madog ap Maredudd ap Llewelyn' as the father of Gruffudd." Wolcott gives his pedigree name string for Madog as "Madog ap Maredudd ap Llywelyn ap Madog ab Einion ap Rhirid ap Madog ab Ednywain Bendew". KINSHIP: Correction> Bartrum's 'WG 1 Additions and Corrections VI" page 11 shows a new page 266a headed "Ednywain Bendew 5a", and 'Edn.B. 6' states "head of table, correct to 8 Madog ab Einion ap Maredudd p. 5a.
