- DISTINCTION: Knighted. (Bartrum, Welsh Genealogies 300-1400, vol. 6 p. 409)
RESIDENCE: Llangynnwr. (Bartrum, Welsh Genealogies 300-1400, vol. 6 p. 409)
RESIDENCE: Cydwely {Cedweli, Carmarthenshire}. (Thomas, Golden Grove MS, book 3 p. B313)
(Research) IDENTITY: Investigate> Bartrum's 'Welsh Genealogies 300-1400' volume 6 page 409 states it is possible he is the Richard ap Morus who was married to Perwyr ferch Maredudd.
(Research) IDENTITY: Conflict/Error> Evans' 'British Genealogist' book 6 page F58 confuses this Richard and his descendants with the Richard who was son of Morus "Castell", thus scrambling both Richard's ancestry and descendants.
(Research) KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Thomas' 'Golden Grove MS' book 3 page B313 gives him a son named Henry, but he is Henry ap Richard ap Morus "Castell".
