According to other sources Thomas was married to Annes Horton and she was the mother of his children. It is possible that Annes Blackman was married to a later Thomas.

(Bartrum, Welsh Genealogies 300-1400, vol. 7 p. 500) (Research) KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 1 page 133 gives his father as Sir William Picton, Knight, but this William is his son not his father. (Research) KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> 'Advenae of Pembrokeshire, from the Golden Grove MS' page B380 creates two generations for one. It has correctly Thomas Picton who was father of William, Rose and John, but has him married to Annes Blackman. The next generation up is, incorrectly, William who is married to Annes Horton and father of Thomas. According to other sources the generation of William needs dropped and the wife Annes Horton made the mother of Thomas' children.
