RESIDENCE: Llanvair Kledoge {Llanfair Clydogau}. (Cobly, "The Visitation of the County of Somerset in the Year 1623", Harleian Society Publication, vol. 11 p. 32)
- (Research):KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 1 page 47 gives the following ancestry: "Gruffudd "Hir" ap Rhydderch ap Ieuan "Llwyd" ap Ieuan ap Gruffudd "Foel".
KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 1 page 64 calls him Gruffudd "Hir" ap Dafydd ap Gruffudd "Foel" ap Gruffudd ap Iorwerth ap [inserts an extra generation called Ifor ap] ap Cydifor ap Gwaithfoed.
KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Evans' 'British Genealogist' book 7 page G38 shows him twice. On the left side, incorrectly, as Gruffudd "Hîr" ap Gruffudd "Foel", and on the right side, incorrectly, as Gruffudd "Hîr" ap Dafydd ap Gruffudd "Hîr" ap Gruffudd "Foel". It also gives him on the left side a erroneous descendancy.MARRIAGE: Conflict/Error> Evan's 'British Genealogist' book 1 page 158 shows him married to his son's wife Angharad ferch Gruffudd, thus omitting the generation of Ieuan.
REMARKS: Kinship> Evan's 'British Genealogist' book 2 page B93 seems to inserts an extra generation between Gruffudd "Hir" and Gruffudd "Foel" called Ieuan, but careful reading states Ieuan had a brother of the full blood named Dafydd who married Catrin ferch Elidyr "Ddû".
