  New Ulm is on Minnesota Hwy. 14, just down the road to the east of Tracy. A call I made to Stockton Rural Cemetery verified that Jessie is buried in Lot 498, Block 19, next to her husband Elmer. According to the 1930 census, which shows Elmer and Jesse living on Anteross Avenue in O'Neal, San Joaquin County, California, Jesse gave her mother's birthplace as Indiana, not New York.
