| Notes |
- Eleanor lived in Pittsburgh at the time of her father's death in 1844. There are both Felker and Crites descendants living in Pittsburgh today, so, apparently, Eleanor had children by both her husbands.
The 1850 census shows Elenor Folker (Felker), age 34 and her husband Willem W. Folker (Felker), 34, living in Sabula, Jackson County, Iowa. Willem (which is Dutch for William) is a cabinet maker, born in Pennsylvania. Eleanor is also show as born in Pennsylvania.
The 1860 census shows Elenor Critz, age 40, living in Forsyth, Green Lake County, Wisconsin (post office, Berlin) with her husband Jonas Critz, 41, a carpenter born in Pennsylvania. In data that I have since lost, I had a marriage record for Eleanor and Isaac Crites. I'm wondering which name is correct. Also, I had his birthplace, originally, as Berlin, Wisconsin.
The 1870 census shows Ellen Crites living alone at age 53 in Berlin, Ward 3, Green Lake County, Wisconsin.
The 1880 census shows an Elenor Critis (Crites), a 63 year old widow living in Berlin, Green Lake County, Wisconsin. Her father was born in Ireland and her mother was born in Pennsylvania. I believe this is Eleanor.
Eleanor's date of death is from Wisconsin Deaths, 1820-1907, Vol. 01, page 0090, reel 033, image 2716, image number 100972, sequence number 070594. Wisconsin Vital Records Death Index.
