- Some believe, James Fegan's grandfather and/or father came to this country possibly in 1634 on either the Dove or the Ark. Both ships sail from Cowes Isle of White, England. The boats docked on the St. Mary's River in the Province of Maryland.
Fires destroyed both ship's logs. Passenger lists were re-constructed from names people remembered.
