  • Notes
    • John was a Whig and was a member of the Baptist Church. John and Judith had already been married for nine years by the time John's father came to Philadelphia in 1792. So, it's not unlikely that all three emmigrated from England together in 1792. At least John and Judith's first three children were born in England, and possibly William, as well. Samuel is the first I have any recorded birth for in America.
